[photo provided to China.org.cn] The 2023 Longqing Gorge Ice Lantern Festival kicked off at the Longqing Gorge, a scenic spot in northwestern Beijing's Yanqing district, on January 10. The lantern festival has an exhibition area of 200,000 square meters and displays nearly 350 ice and snow sculptures. To provide convenience for visitors from downtown Beijing, Yanqing has opened three shuttle bus lines, which set off from Qianmen station and head for attractions including Badaling Ski Resort, Wanke Shijinglong Ski Resort, the Great Wall at Badaling and the Longqing Gorge. |
